Here's an awesome stone. It's an 8mm round STAR CUT AMETHYST set in a mounting made especially for this particular cut by jewelry craftsman Jay Phinney. We have these stones cut by an excellent lapidary in Austin, TX and we set them in this 5 prong basket style mounting we make just for this cut. Just check out the star in the photos. There is a tiny star at the very bottom and it's outlined by another star further up the pavillion facets. The star is part of the actual faceting of the stone and NOT LASER CUT INTO IT. This 14K yellow gold ring is 2mm wide and has the signature "stirrup" bottom by jewelry craftsman Jay Phinney. The corners on this "stirrup" shank add weight and balance to a top heavy ring and help to keep it upright. This ring is a size 6 and can be sized for free before delivery with the proper information.
This piece will be delivered in a velour gift box which is inside a white cardboard "packer" ready for gift wrap.
