This show-stopper pendant is the creation of jewelry artist and craftsman Jay Phinney. This hand fabricated one-of-a-kind convertible pendant features a 14mm round, 9.02carat KIWI QUARTZ with a "checker-cut" top and prong set.. Each of the 24 arms on this piece terminate with prong set 1.8mm round modern brilliant cut DIAMONDS weighing .02carats, yielding a total diamond weight of .48carats. The 14K WHITE GOLD pendant measures just under 1-3/4" diameter at it's widest point and has a bail hidden behind one of the arms which will accommodate up to a 3mm chain....and SURPRISE!!, with just a flick of a fingernail you can raise the hinged post out of the back and convert the pendant into a pin! This post is long enough to be used on material up to 1/4" thick and is deeply notched so that the flat clutch back (a mechanical back similar to a tie-tac back) will literally lock into the notch for extra security. Lower the pin and push it back into the point holder and the pin is converted into a pendant again. You're getting two pieces of jewelry for the price of one, and a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry you'll be proud to own for years to come. This listing is for the pendant only. No chain is included.
